To avoid service call charges, install this remote connection program
Better than 95% of the time, if there is something we need to fix, configure or otherwise adjust on your phone system or telephone desk sets, we can connect to your network remotely to effect repairs or re-configurations.
1. Download the software
We use Splashtop Streamer to connect remotely. There is no cost for this software to download and install.
Go to the software download page by clicking the button below.
You will be asked to confirm that you are sure I want to allow remote access to my computer. Check the box next to "I am sure I want to allow remote access to my computer"
Click the "Download for Windows" button. (available for Mac too, but we prefer to connect to a Windows computer)
When the software finishes downloading, run it to begin the installation process.
If Windows asks if you want the program to make changes to your system click "Yes".
Once the software is installed it will ask you for the Deployment Code. Enter Deployment Code: 7A4HZ3X3JP37
Your computer is now able to accept remote connection requests from Cool Telecom.
We will never remotely connect to your network without your express consent.

2. Provide Windows Login Credentials
We will need to login to the computer where you have installed the software from step 1 above. The username and password we need are the same username and password used to log into the computer when first powered on.
If you do not know your login credentials, try doing this:
Log out of your system (no need to reboot or shut down, just Log Out)
Once logged out you will see the log in screen. On the login screen, make note of your username. if you have a domain server, your username might look like this: DOMAIN \ username. if not, then just provide us with the username that appears above the password field as well as the password you use to log in to the computer where you're installing the remote connection software.
